This workshop is for health care professionals (any discipline) who want to learn how to develop and use shared decision making skills and who want to go on to teach others.

The learning objectives are:

  • To define and agree the principles of shared decision making;
  • To consider the relevance and application of the approach in clinical practice;
  • To develop shared decision making skills, using group work methods, with a dedicated facilitator with patients.

Throughout the workshop, you will have the opportunity to try out new ways of interacting with patients.

SWALEC International Cricket Stadium, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff CF11 9XR, UK.

Cost

£250 per person: includes refreshments, buffet lunch and learning materials.
Reduced fees are available for registered students.
